In the center of Berlin in the Wedding district, it offers the largest range of engineering studies in Berlin and Brandenburg. With over 13,000 students, the Beuth University of Applied Sciences is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Germany. The offer for the students covers a wide range of applied engineering, natural sciences and economics courses in more than 70 accredited Bachelor's and Master's degree programs. The spectrum of eight faculties ranges from the classic engineering disciplines of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, business and civil engineering as well as architecture to innovative degree programs such as media informatics, biotechnology, medical physics, food technology, screen-based media, geoinformation as well as event technology and management. For business and industry the Beuth University is an attractive partner for cooperations and joint projects. The focus is on applied research, also own patents come from the Beuth laboratories. The Beuth University of Applied Sciences bundles innovative courses of study and research activities in the Competence Center "City of the Future". The university wants to provide answers to the social, economic and technological requirements of Berlin and the cities of tomorrow.
The Morpheus network profits in particular from Department II (Mathematics - Physics - Chemistry) and Department V (Life Sciences and Technology). Competencies to be highlighted here are the fields of 3D imaging and data processing using machine learning tools as well as bio- and food technology.
